Last year, for the first time Wharfedale Harriers were included in the BAN Junior Fell and Terrain League which is a competition for local clubs, where points are awarded to individuals at a number of local races.
A number of our juniors did extremely well, in this competition and received engraved plates. Alice Jones 1st U10G, Emily Jones 1st U12G, William Thompson 1st U12B, Alex Thompson 2nd U12B, Thomas Nelson 1st U14B, big congratulations to them all.
The first race for the new season is the Quarry Run, at Stanbury Splash on Sunday 18th January 2015. Details of this race are on Woodentops web site, and details for all the league races are now on the Ilkley Juniors web site.
It would be great to see more of our juniors competing in these races. Remember to put Wharfedale Harriers as your club so you are included in the results.
