Run off the New Years Eve here with this 3 mile fun road race.
Start and finish from The Green in Silsden, part way up Bradley Road
The race starts with a very steep climb up Bradley Road then anti clockwise round Hole Lane and Heights Lane before the tumultuous descent down Horn Lane and Bradley Road to the finish back by the Green.
Presentation afterwards is at the Sunnybank Social Club. Every runner receives a certificate with their time and then gets to choose a mystery present from the table. Everyone is asked to bring a wrapped present, unwanted gift, for this purpose.
Runners of all ages and abilities are welcome at this friendly family event. There is usually a fancy dress theme, many runners choose pyjamas or onesies.
Proceeds from this race go to local charities.
