Sun 4th Febuary 2024 2.00 pm
4.7 mile 890 ft : BS
From Low Hall Farm in Appletreewick, up Kail Lane and then circuiting Appletreewick Pasture.
Following the success of the initial race to celebrate Ted Masons 40th birthday it is now an annual event around the time of his birthday. As the name suggests the race is open to both cyclists and runners.
Starting in the field above Low Hall, the route initially heads up towards Kail Gate Laithe and then on to Kail Lane. It then circuits anti-clockwise around Appletreewick Pasture, where you must mind your head as you pass through the tunnel in the wall corner. It then drops down toward the beck, before climbing back up the old mine track and rejoining the outward route back to the start.
