The early morning rain which threatened to make this a rather damp event fortunately eased and the sky brightened for this traditional New Years Day fun run.
50 runners took part with a mixture of young and old.
First over the line was Oscar Shinn of Ilkley Harriers in a time of 18.14, with first lady Olivia Aldham of Wharfedale Harriers in a time of 21.50
Results
Following the race there was the usual festive prizegiving back at the Sunnybank Social club which saw every runner receive a certificate and also get to choose a small gift.
Proceeds from the race, which came to £180 will this year be donated to Skipton Food Bank.
