The ground was rather wet and soggy for this end of year Daleside Auld Lang Syne race, but at least for the most part the rain stayed away on the day. 258 runners set off from the quarry to the sound of the traditional bag pipes.
Race winner was John Battrick of Keswick AC in a time of 42.05 with first lady Anna Watkinson-Powell of Dark Peak in a time of 52.09
