The weather could not have been more different to the previous week with heavy rain and a strong headwind round various parts of the course plus there were now numerous puddles and thick mud to run through making going tough for all runners. However that did not deter the 145 hardy runners that set off.
First man through the Egg stage was Harry Holmes of Matlock Ac in a time of 3.39, whilst first lady past the Egg Stage was last weeks ladies winner Hannah Thomas of Keighley & Craven in a time of 4.23. Harry then went on to maintain the lead and take the overall win in a time of 16.49. Ladies winner however was Hannah Cairns of Wharfedale Harriers in a time of 19.59 who just managed to keep in front and take the win, after nearly going wrong and being called back by Hannah Thomas.

Remember if you already have a number, please keep it and use it again at the last race. You do need to come and tell us you are are running, please come and sign up in person and pay if needed.
For those that have competed in two races to date here are the overall standings after two races. Remember there are category prizes for those that compete in all three races, with series presentations taking place after the Bunny relays on April 25th
