The weather made for a murky race for this years Runners and Riders as low cloud and mist on top of the fell providing limited visibility of runners and riders ahead. With a slight route change to include include more off tack terrain, the gap between riders and runners did narrow but it was still a cyclist that won on the day.
First man for the the 3rd time was David Mirfield of Hope Factory Racing in a time of 28.36, whilst first runner was Jack Cummings of Ilkley Harriers in a time of 30.06
First lady home was a runner, Victoria Wilkinson of Bingley Harriers in a time of 34.10, closely followed by Amelie Lane of Wharfedale Harriers who still put in a strong performance despite having just won the U17 Northern XC Championship the day before.
