There were 4 seniors and two juniors at this weeks Kendal Winter League on the home ground of Helm Hill runners, running round the Helm.
For the seniors its a fast 2 lap course with several ups and downs including a short steep climb up the rear of the Helm. Fortunately the threatened rain held off, but with occasional glimmers of sun it was relatively warm running. First Wharfedaler back was Tony Shepherd in 58th position, next was Lynn Whittaker in 88th, followed by Graham Breeze 96th, and Geoff Thompson 115th.
In the Junior races Addison Willis finished 14th in the U15 race and Betsy Willis with a great finishing streak came 71st in the U13’s.
