It was a blustery evening on Penistone Hill for the return of the Bunny Runs, having last been run in 2019. 163 Juniors and Seniors set of round on the 2.7 mile circuit.
First across the line for the egg stage was Toby Middleton of Horwich RMI in a time of 3.34, with first female Rebecca Flaherty in a time of 3.59.
Overall winner of the night was Jack Cummings of Ilkley Harriers in a time of 15.52 , with Rebecca Flaherty going on to also claim the overall ladies title in a time of 17.28
Despite the windy conditions, there was also a new Lady vet 70 record set, by Aileen Baldwin in a time of 24.48.
Please remember to keep your number and use it again if you come to the next two races, and for those that run all three races there are the chance of series prizes which are handed out after the relays.
