ALS 2018 – Results

It was a double win for Ribble Valley Harriers at this years Auld Lang Syne Fell Race where 327 runners toe’d the start line to the sound of the bag pipes.  Chris Holdsworth was first man home in 41:06 with a good lead over next man Jack Wood of Ilkley Hrriers, whilst Nichola Jackson was first Lady home in 47:28 ahead of Louisa Powell Smith also of Ribble Valley who set a new LV40 record of 49:49.
It was a good day for the Ladies with 2 other new records also set. Pauline Munroe of Ilkley set a new LV50 record of 51:51 and Judith Greenwood, Stainland Lions bettered her time of last year to set a new LV70 record of 93:12.
