It was a win for Robin Howie of Wharfedale Harriers at this years Soreen Stanbury Splash in a time of 46:41 with first lady being Holly Page of Calder Valley in a time of 52:49. Despite relatively mild conditions for the previous races this winter on Penistone Hill, this time the weather showed off its true nature for the time of year with gusting winds making for tough going in all races, for both young and old.
