This was the first race of this years Senior English Champs
A great turn out of 12 runners made the long journey to South Shropshire, to represent the club where all safely completed the course.
Team wise, we had a scoring for the Men’s Senior and Women’s Senior & V40 competitions.
Ladies V40 effort makes a 3rd place (potential bronze medal) after Rnd1.
Lovely weather, and a tough, enjoyable course with excellent organisation.
The majority of racers cooled off in the stream, followed by rejuvenating and tasty soup, bread & salty butter at the finish!
The next race in this series is in the local neighbourhood, at Weets, Barnoldswick on May 27th. Get entered and support Wharfee’s efforts to get some medalling done!
