Wharfedale Harriers STAR awards 2013
As many of us are going to the Christmas do this year, I thought it may be nice to have some sort of mini prize giving to celebrate some of the achievements of our club members, voted for by all of us… I have in mind a few categories we could nominate people for:
Best Newcomer
Outstanding achievement
Most improved female runner
Most improved male runner
Most improved Junior runner
(please feel free to add more if you can think of any!)
For each award category, members can nominate runners who they think deserve the award; either by private messaging me on here or emailing me. Votes will be counted and the winners announced on the night!
It would be nice to know what people’s thoughts are on this, I just thought it would be a nice way to reflect on how much we have all come on as a club and recognise some of our great achievements this year!
