Last weeks blistering heat was not to be seen as 104 runners lined up in their respective categories to take on this race. Despite the looming grey clouds the rain held of with only a few drops as the seniors began to return. It was great day out for Wharfedale who showed what the club is all about.
After having to settle for 3rd place last week at Helm Hill. Ted was back with a great performance to take the win and was backed up by Jack who finished 3rd and 1st U23. Lynn Whittaker put last weeks race behind her, after going wrong, to finish as 3rd lady.

The number of juniors in the U12 category keeps increasing for Wharfedale which is great to see. Jack and William continued to show us there great talent by finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively. For the girls Charlotte and Alice yet again put in 100% to finish 1st and 2nd respectively.
