The over night snow once again put paid to the seniors running the full Stanbury Splash route, instead it was shortened to the slightly easier Stoop course. Although the ice covered bogs on the way down added their own level of danger. Nick Charlesworth once again finished near the front, not far behind the leaders in 7th place and claiming 1st V40 prize.
Meanwhile Jack Muir won the junior Quarry Run race which was also over a slightly modified course with Alex Thompson not far behind in 2nd place having just moved up to the U14s. And it was also a good day for the girls with Alice Jones being 1st U12 girl and Hattie Bishop 1st U10 girl.
