Warm, dry conditions on a real varied fell course – tussocky, some technical steep ascents, descents and very steppy (in order to avoid rabbit holes and ankle breaking!!) Very runnable final third to the finish line on the North Ribblesdale rugby field back in Settle.
Goldie and Lee Athersmith made the podium with 2nd and 3rd places. Well done all 6 Wharfee fellas who took part and Andy Holden for some excellent photos and cheers mid race, at the base of High Hill. Generous prize giving and spot prizes plus cakes and a chance to get a shower, all made for an enjoyable morning out!
