Report from Kirsty:
Kirsty Hall and her partner Sam finished 5th overall and 2nd mixed team on day one. Then on day two they finished 2nd mixed team and 2nd overall – which meant that they finished 2nd mixed team and 3rd overall. 1st overall and 1st mixed team was a British orienteering junior girls champ and her dad.
Annie and Steve Milner did a longer class. After a small error of judgement on their penultimate checkpoint on day one where they lost a lot of time (nearly 1.5 hours) – they came in 100th. However on day two they had a great run and finished 62nd which put them in 83rd place overall.
Overall brilliant event and a good laugh in the overnight camp.
