It was the juniors who came to the fore in this weeks race, with Thomas Nelson taking 2nd in the U17’s, Logan Hargreaves 2nd in the U14’s and Charlotte Barrett 3rd girl in the U12’s; against some talented competition. As one of the toughest KWL races, at what is now affectionately known as “The Dales Winter Sliding Centre” many more tried the technique of sliding down the hillside, even juniors, to cope with the steep sided slopes of Barbondale.
