The ladies team of Emma Dodd and Caroline Pollard (1st leg), Looie Pickles and Clare Pearson (2nd leg), Kirsty Hall and Rachel Hill (3rd leg) and Gill Myers and Sarah Tipler (4th leg) – managed to secure a prize to finish 5th! Meanwhile the men were doing well until navigation problems hit on leg 3 following some last minute changes – and they ended up in 16th place. However Sam and Ted had a fantastic run on leg 4 finishing 2nd fasted team on the day only 45 seconds behind the Borrowdale pair from the winning team. Next year guys! The mens team consisted of James Hall and Christian Holmes (leg 1), Nick Charlesworth and Mark Sennett (leg 2), Paul Crabtree and Paul Crabby Crabtree (leg 3) and Sam Watson and Ted Mason (leg 4).
