305 Seniors ran this years Stanbury Splash fell race, over a slightly modified course which took an alternative route to reach Ponden Clough. Other than the stiles which did seem to cause some backing up, most comments regarding the new course seemed to be favourable, however any feedback good or bad on the changes is welcome.
The overall winner in a time of 47:56 was Jack Cummings of Ilkley Harriers whilst the the ladies title was secured by Helen Smith of Ribble Valley Harriers in a time of 53.13.
Many thanks also must go to Soreen for once again supplying us with Malt Loaf bars which all runners should have received when they registered. If you missed out then make sure you register sooner next time.
