It may well have been a record turnout for this years Runners and Riders as 195 runners and cyclists raced around the upper pastures of Appletreewick. Race winner was Dave Mirfield of Hope Factory Racing in a time of 29:20 , with first runner Tom Bell of North Leeds fell Runners in overall 2nd place in a time of 32.05. First lady was Katie Walshaw of Holmfirth Harriers in a time of 36.38. This was all then followed by hot drinks, sandwiches and cake in the barn followed by prizegiving at the local pub.
