It was a somewhat damp and dark evening especially for the Seniors at this years Eshton Moor Fell Race. 78 seniors ran, along with 64 in the Junior races.
The senior race was won by Edward Evans, currently unattached in a time of 32.08, with Ailish Graham of Wharfedale Harriers being first lady home in a time of 36.05.
In the U17 race, Amelie Lane of Wharfedale Harriers, once again showed the boys how to run by taking first place overall ahead of Nathan Hird also of Wharfedale, first U17 boy.
Tom Hooper of Wharfedale was 1st U14 boy with Graihagh Turner of Penistone Footpath Runners first girl.
First boy in the U12 race was Alex Sadler-Townsend of Keighley & Craven, whilst first girl was Rita Box of Skipton AC.
In the U9 race it was Jos Jebb of Helm Hill who was first home with Elizabeth Oakden of Keighley & Craven as first girl.
