What a cracking evening for the last of this years Bunny Runs, our relay event. The sun was shining and 64 teams set off around the course. This years overall winning team was The Triple Yolkers comprised of Eddie Evans, Hannah Cairns and Andrew Cairns, in a time of 29.47 closely followed by Pudsey & Bramley Plus One, with Declan Walker, Mitchell Boocock and Eric Beaumont in a time of 29.51.
First female team were Scrambled Eggs with Olivia Aldham, Emily Gibbins and Rebecca Flaherty in a time of 33.14
A couple of records came close but the only one that was beaten was the LV40 record by the Eggstatic Elders of P&B, comprising Karen Pickles, Caroline Harding, and Rachel Pilling with a time of 39.29
The evening finished with presentations back at the Cricket Club for the relays and then the overall series prizes for those who had competed in all three Bunny Runs, followed by a chocolate and goodies throw out.
For seniors, over 18, next week its Dick Hudsons fell race from “The Barrier” Car Park in Ilkley, 7pm, 4th of May.
