Wharfedale Harriers are now members of the Bradford Athletic Network (BAN)
The Bradford Athletics Network (BAN) organise a junior Fell & Terrain League for its clubs (Baildon, Bingley, Bradford Airedale, Eccleshill, Ilkley, Keighley & Craven, Longwood, Spenborough, St Bedes, Settle, Skipton AC, Skyrac, and now Wharfedale Harriers!). There are 4 different race categories (age based on 1st Jan 2014, similar to FRA categories) – U10 (min age 8), U12, U14 and U16. League points are awarded at each event and at the end of the series engraved plates will be presented to the first 3 finishers providing a minimum of 5 races have been run. U10 & U12: best 6 out of 9 results to count. U14 and U16: best 7 out of 10 results to count.

As we joined after the Soreen Stanbury Splash, I have been told that any points gained from this race will be awarded retrospectively.
It’s a great junior league to take part in, for very little extra effort, and all the races are local!
