Starting from the Show Field to Town Edge and back
The race leaves the show field and turns left running along the road past the school till it turns sharp right up Sidegate Lane. A short distance up the lane there is a track on the left. Head up here for 50 Yards and then bear right up the ridge to the summit of Town Edge. From the summit there is a steep descent back down to cross Sidegate Lane. Then a steep drop over a wall before returning through the fields to the finish back at the show field.

Juniors and Seniors run together, minimum age 10 on day.

Course
As much of the course is on private land and there are no public footpaths please do not try to recce the off road sections before the day.
Entry Cost
Small cost to enter the race, plus small cost for the show ( Usually a couple of pound per person. £2 adults, £1 children in 2016 )
